The irregular outline and flowing grain make the piece feel organic and alive — closer to a natural wood sculpture than a flat panel.

Its tall, slim proportions suit vertical spaces: an entryway, a hallway, the wall above a sofa, sideboard, or bed, or a dining room wall between pendant lights. It brings warmth and texture to minimal, neutral rooms and makes a strong focal point in lobbies and boutique spaces.

Each Porella is made to order in Natural, Walnut, Brown, or Black, with a Smooth Surface or Natural Rough Surface finish, and comes in four sizes from 47" to 75" tall.

Key Features

Sculptural wood wall art with pierced oval openings

Hand-carved, rounded openings with smooth scooped edges

Free-form outline with softly waving top, bottom, and sides

Deep 3D relief that plays with light and shadow

Natural wood grain flowing around every curve

Tall, slim vertical format for entryways and narrow walls

Reads as an organic wall sculpture rather than a flat panel

Four sizes from 47" to 75" tall

Four wood tones: Natural, Walnut, Brown, and Black

Handcrafted from natural solid wood and made to order

Specifications

Material: Premium natural solid wood, hand-selected at the time of crafting

Craftsmanship: Hand-carved free-form relief with pierced oval openings, hand-sanded and hand-finished

Mounting: Wall-mounted, vertical orientation

Colors: Natural, Walnut, Brown, Black

Surface options: Smooth Surface, Natural Rough Surface

Placement: Entryway, hallway, living room, dining room, bedroom, office, hotel lobby

Weight: Varies by size and the natural wood selected

Production time: 7–10 days, made to order

Shipping: Express UPS Air, about 1 week after production

Available Sizes

Size (inches)

Size (cm)

Best for

47"H x 18"W x 4"D

119 x 46 x 10 cm

Entryways, hallways, narrow walls

55"H x 20"W x 4"D

140 x 51 x 10 cm

Above a console, sideboard, or bench

65"H x 24"W x 4"D

165 x 61 x 10 cm

Living rooms, dining rooms, above a sofa

75"H x 28"W x 5"D

191 x 71 x 13 cm

Feature walls, high ceilings, lobbies

Perfect For

Entryways • Hallways • Living rooms • Dining rooms • Bedrooms • Offices • Hotel lobbies • Boutique spaces

Use As

Wall art • Wall sculpture • Relief panel • Statement wall decor • Above-sofa art • Entryway focal point

Interior Styles

Organic modern • Japandi • Wabi-sabi • Brutalist • Warm minimalist • Biophilic • Contemporary

Friendly Product Answers

What makes the Porella wall art different from other wood wall panels?
Instead of a flat surface with a pattern, it is carved right through: smooth oval openings pierce a free-form wood slab, so the wall behind becomes part of the design and light and shadow move across the piece throughout the day.

Where does it look best?
Its tall, slim shape is ideal for entryways, hallways, and the wall above a sofa, sideboard, or dining table. Leave some clear wall space around it so the shape can breathe.

What wood is it made from?
Each Porella is crafted from
