A single, flowing S-curve pedestal rises from a broad wooden foot, folds back on itself and lifts a solid wood top with a natural live edge, so the whole desk reads like one continuous ribbon of wood.

Built as an executive desk for open-plan homes and offices, Serpina is designed to be seen from every side. There are no four legs and no modesty panel: the curved base sits under one side of the top, leaving open knee and chair space on the other, and the clean lines look just as good facing a window as floating in the middle of a room.

Each desk is handcrafted to order from premium natural solid wood, with laminated layers shaped into the sweeping curve and finished by hand. Choose from Natural, Walnut, Brown or Black, in a smooth surface or a natural rough surface, and four sizes from a compact 59" home office desk to a 79" statement executive desk.

Key Features

Sculptural S-curve pedestal base carved as one flowing ribbon of solid wood

Solid wood top with a natural live edge for organic, one-of-a-kind character

Single-pedestal design leaves open space for an office chair and legs

Broad curved foot gives the desk a stable, grounded stance

Finished on all sides, ideal for floating in the middle of a room

Standard 30" working height, comfortable for laptop and keyboard work

Four sizes from 59" to 79" wide, depths from 24" to 26"

Four wood tones: Natural, Walnut, Brown and Black

Smooth Surface or Natural Rough Surface finish

Handcrafted and made to order for each customer

Specifications

Material: Premium natural solid wood, hand-selected at the time of crafting

Craftsmanship: Handcrafted curved pedestal base, hand-sanded and hand-finished

Design: Single S-curve pedestal with live edge solid wood top

Colors: Natural, Walnut, Brown, Black

Surface options: Smooth Surface, Natural Rough Surface

Placement: Free-standing; home office, executive office, study, open workspace or living room

Weight: Varies by size and the natural wood selected

Production time: 7–10 days, made to order

Shipping: Express UPS Air, about 1 week after production

Available Sizes

Size (inches)

Size (cm)

Best for

59"W x 30"H x 24"D

150 x 76 x 61 cm

Compact home office, 1 person

65"W x 30"H x 24"D

165 x 76 x 61 cm

Standard home office or study

71"W x 30"H x 26"D

180 x 76 x 66 cm

Executive office, room for monitor + documents

79"W x 30"H x 26"D

201 x 76 x 66 cm

Large executive office or open workspace

Perfect For

Home offices • Executive offices • Open-plan workspaces • Studios • Reception areas • Creative studios • Living room work corners

Use As

Executive desk • Writing desk • Computer desk • Home office desk • Statement work table

Interior Styles

Organic modern • Japandi • Contemporary • Minimalist • Wabi-sabi • Mid-century modern • Luxury modern

Friendly Product Answers

What makes the Serpina desk different from a regular wood desk?
Instead of four legs, the top rests on one sculptural S-curve pedestal shaped from solid wood. The curved pedestal sits under one side of the top, leaving an open area for an office chair and legs on the other side. The 65" and 71" sizes give room for a monitor, lamp and documents. The 79" desk is a full executive desk for larger offices or open spaces. Allow about 36" behind the desk for a chair to move comfortably.

What wood is the desk made from?
Each desk is made from premium natural solid wood chosen at the time of production.
