Handmade Live Edge Desks in Solid Wood
Quick answer: Woodfurnist desks are handmade from solid wood in our Da Nang workshop: live edge executive desks, sculptural and corner desks, and wall-mounted floating desks for small spaces. Each is made to order, ships free in the US, and pieces in this collection currently cost from $405.90 to $6,380 depending on design and size.
You spend hours at a desk, so it should feel good to sit at. A solid wood top with a natural live edge brings warmth to a home office, and because every slab is different, no one else will have the same desk.
Freestanding or floating?
| Type | Typical sizes | Best for | Shop |
|---|---|---|---|
| Freestanding live edge desk | About 50 to 79 inches wide, 30 to 32 inches tall, 20 to 30 inches deep | Dedicated home offices and executive setups | Freestanding desks |
| Floating wall desk | About 20 to 60 inches long, 18 to 20 inches deep | Small rooms, bedrooms and nooks | See floating designs below |
Exact dimensions for each size are listed on every product page.
How to choose
- Width: allow room for a monitor and keyboard plus space to write; about 50 inches suits most single-screen setups.
- Depth: 24 inches or more gives a comfortable distance from a large monitor.
- Floating desks: tell us your wall type before ordering so we can advise on mounting.
