About Us
Our Story
Woodfurnist is a handcrafted solid wood furniture brand founded in late 2024 by Edward. Every piece is made to order by the artisans in our workshop in Da Nang, Vietnam, carries the name of the person who made it, and ships free to homes across the United States. Our US office is in Everett, Washington.
Edward came to the United States as an international student. Living here, he saw how hard it was to find furniture that felt truly handmade: real wood with real grain, shaped by a real person rather than a factory line. He started Woodfurnist to bring that kind of furniture into American homes, working with the woodworkers of Da Nang.
Today our Da Nang workshop is home to 20 artisans. They select each slab and branch, then carve, sand and finish every piece by hand. Because natural wood is never the same twice, no two Woodfurnist pieces are identical, and each one is signed by the artisan who built it.
