About Our Furniture
Learn more about materials, craftsmanship, customization and installation.
What materials does Woodfurnist use?
Woodfurnist specializes in handcrafted furniture created from natural wood materials, including solid wood, live-edge wood and driftwood depending on the design.
Because natural wood has its own grain, knots, tones and organic characteristics, every handcrafted piece may have subtle variations that make it unique.
Is every Woodfurnist piece handmade?
Many Woodfurnist pieces are individually handcrafted by experienced artisans. Our designs celebrate the natural character of wood rather than trying to make every piece look exactly identical.
Do you offer custom furniture?
Yes. We offer customization for many Woodfurnist designs. Depending on the product, we may be able to adjust dimensions, layout, wood characteristics or other design details.
Contact our team with your preferred measurements and design requirements before ordering so we can review your project.
How long does a custom commission take?
Custom commissions generally require approximately 4–8 weeks, depending on the size and complexity of the project.
Larger or highly detailed furniture may require additional production time.
Is Woodfurnist furniture easy to install?
Installation requirements vary by product. Many shelves, tables and furniture pieces are designed for straightforward assembly or installation.
Where applicable, installation instructions or guidance are provided. Depending on the product, installation may take approximately 30 minutes to 2 hours.
Large, heavy or wall-mounted furniture should always be installed using suitable hardware and appropriate support for your wall type.
Is the wood treated for termite protection?
Our wood goes through preparation and treatment before production, and finished pieces receive protective finishing appropriate to the design.
Proper storage, normal indoor humidity and regular furniture care will also help protect natural wood over time.
How much weight can Woodfurnist furniture hold?
Weight capacity depends on the product dimensions, construction, installation method and mounting surface.
- Many properly installed shelves can support approximately up to 66 lb.
- Many console tables can support approximately 110–176 lb.
For a specific product, please contact us before placing unusually heavy items on the furniture.

Larger handcrafted pieces, custom products, holidays or periods of high order volume may require additional time.
How do I track my order?
Once your order has been shipped and transferred to the carrier, tracking information will be provided so you can follow the delivery progress.
Tracking may take a short time to become active after the carrier receives the package.
Do large furniture pieces take longer to ship?
Large furniture such as tables, cabinets and other oversized handcrafted pieces may require additional preparation or custom protective packaging before shipment.
If additional time is required for your order, our team will provide the relevant delivery information.
How is my furniture packaged for delivery?
Each piece is carefully prepared and packaged to protect the wood, finish and structural components during transportation.
Packaging methods may vary depending on the size, weight and shape of the furniture.
Care & Maintenance
Simple ways to help preserve the natural beauty of your furniture.
How should I care for my Woodfurnist furniture?
Regularly dust your furniture using a clean, soft and dry cloth. For light cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth and gently wipe the surface.
Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners and excessive moisture, as these may affect natural wood or its finish.
Will the wood look exactly like the product photos?
Natural variations are part of authentic wood furniture. Grain patterns, knots, edge shapes and color tones can vary slightly from one piece to another.
These natural characteristics are not defects—they are part of what makes each Woodfurnist piece unique.
Should I keep natural wood away from direct sunlight?
Whenever possible, avoid prolonged exposure to intense direct sunlight, excessive heat or unusually high moisture. Maintaining a reasonably stable indoor environment can help preserve the appearance of natural wood.
