Solid Wood Floating Shelves, All in One Place
Quick answer: This page brings together every Woodfurnist floating shelf: straight live edge wall shelves, corner shelves, mushroom shelves and bar shelves. Each one is made by hand to order from solid wood in our Da Nang, Vietnam workshop, ships free in the US, and currently costs from $190 to $3,990 depending on size and design.
A floating shelf hides its brackets, so all you see is the wood itself. Because every board is cut and finished by hand, the live edge, grain and knots on your shelf will be different from the photos and from every other shelf we make.
Which floating shelf fits your space?
| Style | Best for | Shop |
|---|---|---|
| Straight wall shelf | Books, plants and everyday display in living rooms, kitchens and bedrooms | Wall floating shelves |
| Corner shelf | Turning an empty corner into storage without blocking a walkway | Corner floating shelves |
| Mushroom shelf | A playful accent in nurseries, entryways and reading nooks | Mushroom floating shelves |
| Bar shelf or bar table | Bottles, glassware and a small standing bar on the wall | Bar shelves and tables |
| By room | Ideas sized for a specific room | Kitchen, living room |
How to choose length and depth
- Length: leave a little wall visible on each side. Over a sofa or sideboard, a shelf about two thirds of the furniture's width usually looks balanced.
- Depth: shallow shelves suit frames, candles and small plants. Choose a deeper shelf for plates, cookbooks or hardcover books.
- Height: mark the position with painter's tape first, and keep clear of light switches and outlets.
- Wall type: tell us whether your wall is drywall, brick, concrete or tile so we can advise on mounting before you order.
Exact sizes and finish options are listed on each product page. If you need a custom length, send us your wall measurements from any product page.

Floating shelves FAQ
How much do Woodfurnist floating shelves cost?
Floating shelves currently cost from $190 to $3,990, depending on the style, length and finish you choose. Standard shipping in the US is free.
What wood are the shelves made from?
Depending on the design, our workshop works with solid oak, walnut, teak, saman and driftwood. Each product page lists the wood and finish options for that shelf.
Do the shelves come with mounting hardware?
Mounting details vary by design and are listed on each product page. Tell us your wall type before ordering and we will confirm the right mounting method for your wall.
Will my shelf look exactly like the photo?
No. Every shelf is cut from natural wood, so the live edge, grain and color will vary. That variation is what makes each shelf one of a kind.
