Vespera Sculptural Wood Wall Art – Carved Bat Wing Relief Sculpture

The Vespera Sculptural Wood Wall Art is a wide, hand-carved wall sculpture in natural solid wood shaped like a pair of outstretched bat wings: two sweeping, scalloped wings meet at a central point, with flowing ridges and folds carved across their surface.

Each wing is shaped with deep, wind-swept curves that rise and fall like fabric caught in motion, while the fine, linear wood grain follows every ridge. The scalloped lower edge and pointed center give the piece a dramatic, sculptural silhouette that casts soft shadows on the wall behind it.

Its long, horizontal shape is made for wide walls: above a bed, sofa, sideboard, or console, or across a feature wall in a living room, bedroom, entryway, or lounge. It is a bold, artistic statement for organic modern and gothic-inspired interiors alike, and a striking seasonal piece that works year-round.

Each Vespera is made to order in Natural, Walnut, Brown, or Black, with a Smooth Surface or Natural Rough Surface finish, and comes in four sizes from 55" to 79" wide.

Friendly Product Answers

What makes the Vespera wall art different from other wood wall pieces?
It is carved as a free-standing silhouette rather than a rectangular panel. The two wings are shaped with deep, flowing folds, so the piece reads as a sculpture with real depth and shadow on the wall.

Where should I hang it?
Its wide, horizontal shape suits the wall above a bed, sofa, sideboard, or console, or a long feature wall. It looks best centered with some clear wall space around the wing tips.

Which size should I choose?
The 55" size fits above a console or loveseat, 63" suits a queen bed or 3-seat sofa, 71" balances a king bed or large sofa, and 79" fills wide feature walls. A width about two-thirds to three-quarters of the furniture below works well.

What wood is it made from?
Each Vespera is crafted from premium natural solid wood selected at the time of production, so grain pattern, tone, and weight vary slightly and every piece is one of a kind.

How long does production and delivery take?
Each piece is made to order in 7–10 days, then shipped via Express UPS Air in about 1 week, so most orders arrive in roughly 2–3 weeks.
