Undara Sculptural Wood Sofa – Wave Backrest Carved Frame Sofa with Open Cutouts

Make a sculptural statement in your living room with the Undara Sculptural Wood Sofa, a handcrafted sofa with a carved frame of natural solid wood. Its backrest rises and falls in a soft, wave-like silhouette, and organic oval cutouts are carved through the back and arms, giving the frame an airy, flowing look.

The continuous wooden frame curves down into sculpted supports at each end, cradling a long upholstered seat cushion. Rich grain follows every curve of the carving, so the sofa reads as a piece of functional sculpture from every angle.

Use it as the centerpiece of a living room, a statement seat in a lounge or reading room, or an elegant sofa for hotel lobbies, galleries, and open-plan spaces.

Available in Oak, Walnut, Brown, and Black finishes, with a smooth or natural rough surface texture, the Undara suits organic modern, mid-century modern, Japandi, warm minimalist, and contemporary interiors.

Friendly Product Answers

What makes the Undara sofa different?
Its solid wood frame is carved with a wave-shaped backrest and organic oval openings, so the sofa looks like a flowing wooden sculpture while the upholstered seat keeps it comfortable.

Where does it fit best?
It works as the main sofa in a living room, a statement seat in a lounge or reading room, or elegant seating in a lobby or gallery. Pair it with a natural wood coffee table for a cohesive look.

Which size should I choose?
The 60" and 65" widths suit apartments and smaller living rooms, much like a loveseat. The 70" width fits most living rooms, and the 80" size makes a generous statement sofa for larger spaces. All sizes are 22" deep.

What wood is it made from?
Each sofa frame is carved from premium natural solid wood selected at the time of production. Because it is real wood, grain pattern, tone, and weight vary slightly from piece to piece.

How long does production and delivery take?
Each piece is made to order in 7–10 days, then shipped by Express UPS Air, arriving in about 1 week. Plan for roughly 2–3 weeks from order to delivery.
